Hi! I’m Will and I think how people and technology get along together is pretty important. Tech is impossible to avoid so I’d like to make it not only bearable to use and interact with but exciting, pleasurable and respectful of our privacy and security, too. Maybe even a little fun.
I attended the University of Washington as a student in the Information School’s Informatics program and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a focus in Human Computer Interaction (HCI). Go dawgs! I’ve been a military linguist, a business systems analyst, a lab manager, a program manager, a PR exec, a consultant…But this weird background means I’ve seen it all (or at least a lot of it) when it comes to terrible implementations of technology. I think we can do better.
When I’m not thinking about why automobile entertainment systems could be SO much better, I reminisce about the good old days, before you-know-what, when I'd talk my friends into playing super nerdy board games, watch the right kind of terrible movies with them and explore new places to eat brunch with my wife.
